Core Health Insurance Simple Plan, 4 Core Health, Health Insurance Innovations. Where do I begin with Core Health? Nationwide

Where do I begin with Core Health? Well, for starters I was looking for affordable health insurance, because I did not realize my current health insurance was deactivated. A broke name Mr. Chad Roberts called me and told me about the affordable plan that CORE Health has for me. He told me I would only be paying the amount of $192 a month. Nothing more. Nothing less. I was perfectly fine with that. I was also told that I would be receiving all my information via mail with my insurance card and prescription card.

Well, everything come to find out is online when I called them yesterday and was on the phone for 2 HOURS!!! Customer service couldn’t answer any of my SIMPLE questions. I was constantly getting transferred to a CASE MANGER. Who was not helpful at all. I couldn’t comprehend why I need to call someone to schedule MY DOCTORS appointments, when I am perfectly capable of making those appointments myself; considering I know how my schedule is and these people DO NOT!! Well, I was told I have to go through these people in order to coordinate doctors and hospital visits or else they will not pay anything if I do not. So, after that i expressed my frustration and the case manger “DEE” was pretty much laughing at me and could careless about how I felt about this. That was all phone call 1. Phone call 2 is another story!!!

After finally getting my member ID and password i was able to log onto the portal and access everything. Well, while browsing the site I notice I have AUTO and LIFE INSURANCE tacked onto my health insurance. While trying to understand this, I received an email from SIMPLE HEALTH that they deducted $119 from my account (2/26/2018). Well, now I am HEATED. I call customer service again to figure out why the heck this amount got debited from my account!! I was transferred to “DEE” again who took almost as 1/2 hour putting me on hold and coming back to tell me that I am paying a $119 for AUTO AND LIFE INSURANCE!!! I kindly told me to take this off my policy!! She told me I was NOT allowed to take this off my policy. Now, the conversation got heated. I never authorized for this company to take out this amount from bank account! I was never told I was going to be paying an additional $119 for AUTO and LIFE INSURANCE!! I do not need these two things on my policy. I only needed health insurance. Well, I told her I wanted my money credited back to me of the $119 that I never authorized to be taken out! To my knowledge I was only aware of the $192 that would be taken out. Not an additional $119! Once all said was done with “DEE” who once again was not helpful and laughing at me for everything. I called my back and explained to them what was going on. They never heard of this company and didn’t understand why she couldn’t credit my money back to me. My bank had to a stop to taking of additional funds from this company. She thinks that I am being scammed and helped me try to sort things out before taking further action against this company. She didn’t like how there are more than ONE bank taking money out of my account. There should only be ONE bank taking money out when it comes to auto-pay. Not multiple. I have my bank monitoring my account in case they try to get out more money without authorization.

This company and their brokers are uneducated workers. They do not know how to answer simple questions. They put you on hold. I’ve only had them since the beginning of Feb 2018! Side Note: I have put in three phone calls to Mr. Chad Richards and have yet to receive a phone call back. His phone line is now disconnected.

Health Insurance Innovations Often abbreviated Misrepresentation of service Tampa Florida

About two years ago, I attempted to seek Medicaid and input my information with Covered-CA, the California-specific method of doing so, and this company contacted me as I awaited call backs from 3rd party insurance agencies.

In my inexperience at the time, I gave it a shot; and as the subsequent year and a half was extremely turbulent and I had few trips to the doctor, I didn’t really notice that I was essentially paying for what turns out to be a suppliment to already existing coverage. You wouldn’t know this when actually speaking to HIIQ however, as the company sells its policies as stand alone policies and vehemently discourages speaking to other insurance agencies with a shocking level of hostility bordering on emotional manipulation, and attempts to misdirect you with further sales pitches. Even as a suppliment, the usefulness of this company is questionable. Nothing remotely accredited accepts this or has even heard of it, even for what it is…which isn’t what they say they are.

To sum it up, I’m out hundreds of dollars I’ll probably never get back for a policy that was advertised as something it wasn’t (it doesn’t even have anything to do with National Health Coverage or Obamacare, unawareness of this fact seems to be something they prey upon.) and either way, is absolutely useless. HIIQ seems to be in a bit of trouble at the moment thankfully, although it seems they’ve planned a multitude of loop holes to try to weasel their way out of this but nonethless, every complaint must help.

Of note as well:

-HIIQ’s website is, when getting past the self aggrendization, is extremely vague in what its company actually does.

-Withdraws cannot be done via Credit Card, and withdraws from my Debit Account only offer the name of the company and a phone number. No company code or anything else.

-Attempts to speak to representatives of the company about anything having to do with cancellation seems to be met with calculated attempts to belittle and guilt-trip the customer, as on two separate occasions where I brought this up to the company I was met with a shocking level of hostility…where minutes of almost too nice buddy buddy dialogue quickly changed to a much harsher tone almost like clockwork with the agents in question attempting to make it seem like I’m being irrational when aggressive sales pitching and attempts to further delve into my given reasons for cancelling my policy don’t work. In the second call in particular, I never raised my voice, listened to every pitch fully, and always politely responded with “that won’t be necessary, I just want to cancel my plan.” and I was answered back with and I quote. “You know (my name), why are you being so difficult? I’m just trying to help you with your diffiulties and you keep arguing with me.” I reiterated that I never even inturrupted said person and I still never raised my voice…only bringing up once that the constant delaying was starting to get a little eye-raising. I was briefly put on hold, then told my policy had been cancelled (with subsequent email sent) and the agent didn’t even so much as say a “will that be all?”, and I was hung up on mid way saying “thank you”.

I feel this is important to note not just for its unprofessionalism, but more that I strongly suspect this company utlizes emotionally manipulative tactics to misdirect or even guilt-trip customers wishing to stop their service which further helps the case that this company is probably a well oiled scam. I’ve never spoken to any legitimate insurance agency that was so confrontational off the bat, and with consistency.

health Insurance Innovations Sold insurance coverage with high premiums and low coverage. Tampa Florida

I would like to report this company ( Health Insurance Innovations ) as a ripoff, because they told me that the coverage would be higher than it actually is.

The company personnal stated that I would have 100% hospitalization and doctor visits coverage. However, for a $500.00 premium per mouth, I only will receive a $100.00 doctor visit coverage for a maximum of six visits a year and a $250.00 hospitalization coverage for a maximum of five times a year.

I ever received a policy for my coverage.

I called to get a new insurance policy for the Affordable Care act because our company doesn’t offer insurance. So we have to purchase our own. I called this company and they told me it was full coverage and that we would have exactly what we wanted. They pushed me to sign the paperwork on my phone since it was small, I couldn’t read it and they had kept me on the phone for an hour already.

I have terrible migraines, so I am looking into bariatric surgery to help with weight loss. I was told that I had to speak with a representative because most affordable care policies do not have bariatrics. So that’s what I tried to do.

They charged us $560 and said each month following would only be $405… only. We knew that would be difficult for us to pay, but it was important to have bariatrics as an option… so we consented.

This is NOT full coverage. It is does not cover anything. I tried to make an appointment with my dr and they couldn’t even find the insurance company in their system. It was an official website and process, but they are frauds.

Health Insurance Innovations Simple Health I was contacted by phone by a so called certified Insurance representative who convinced me to purchase a Health plan Internet

I am 62 year’s old and was harrassed by my former employer MDCPS to retire. As a consequence of the early retirement I lost my health coverage . A well spoken , self-described Licensed Insurance agent contacted me by phone following my online research on the various Health Insurance plans available in Florida. She asked me some specific informations about me and my health needs before offering me a plan with no deductibles , no annual max. cap. she also mentionned no medical underwriting . She added the plan would cover hospital, doctors visits and prescription drugs but with some coverage restrictions such as maternity, substance abuse and mental health coverage. She gave me her “private” phone number to call her any time : 1-800-594-4046. She was savvy and quite friendly and seemingly empathetic and convinced me to sign in right away during our phone exchange for a first monthy charge of $348.57 so as not to lose health coverage. She directed me to an online site to get all infos until I receive all complementary informations by mail. Unfortunately when I called the hospitals and some doctors on their list most did not accept the insurance names provided by Health Insurance Innovations . I called the customer service number I found on line and was shocked by the hostile and rude manners their phone employees displayed and their refusal to honor my request for cancellation only three days after I had signed up . They finally did accept to credit my acct of the same amount they charged me. I did not trust the promise so I went to my bank to file a claim and cancel my account linked credit/debit card.

Unfortunately my bank claim has not been successful and my account was debited of the $348.57 . If there is a class action law suit against the Company I would very much like to be part of it .

I have been paying for my Dr. visits (one was $42). I was told at that visit that I only had 3 Dr. visits/yr. I would have to pay for any over that. My prescriptions have been over $100 & I have 6. Health Insurance Innovations First Health – David I called for information on Medical Insurance. I was NOT given a true and clear of what was included i this policy. I was informed that it was medical insurance and would cover just about everthing. I just asked about a policy that was simple and any doctor or hospital would accept this coverage. I know now that I have been “Ripped-Off big time” I am struggling with a lot of sad experiences and for someone knowingly R”Rips” me off is sad! They said Hollywood, Florida Nationwide, David, Holloywood, Florida

I called an 800# that was listed with BlueCross/BlueShield. My call was answered and I was told, ‘I will transfer you to an agent. So they did, and someone began talking very fast told me someone with First Health would be on the line to talk with me. David??? came on the line and he talked faster than they first person.

They informed me they had the ‘perfect’ policy for me after asking a few questions. It sounded okay at first, then the further we went I was very confused. (I should have hung-up at that point.)

Shortly after that they gave me a premium price + an enrollment fee. The premium was decent with 0 deductible. I went through the process on the computer and did not have the time to read each page. I was told to ‘sign’ where indicated and go to the next page and ‘sign’ again. It was like “Bip-man, thank you mam. Whoever was on the other end of the conversation did not give me time to read what I was signing.

I worried about it all night and did not have the time to read all the papers early, but I did read what printed-off this evening and was startled at what I read – ” This is not insurance” and I became ill at my stomach. It is a crime to let someone sell over the internet, pushing something that is not what was advertised – medical insurance. Then all the fees that are added on.

I have a job where we all work hard for our living. I totally resent someone taking advantage of me. I will be requesting a refund immediately.

Please don’t fall for their story, it is fraud.

Unified Health one Health insurance innovations I no longer could pay Obama care monthly. I got a call from agent she told me she could help. Personal information was given found a major medical that was a group plan. She then said, individual ppo. OK 4 visits a year with prescription, xrays lab work , Overland park Kansas

Looking for ins. Got lots of calls and 1 person she could help. Individual,ppo that’s a group plan yes OK they have room if you act now. Before they fill up. Had to pay a fee 125.00 then monthly 189.06 month all that day. Told me my Dr was on list and hospital,clinic, and lab. I was ready to do my blood work and fill meds and told this is not a major medical, its a supplement and doesn’t cover labs or xrays. It would only cover 50.00 of the office visit. I couldn’t use this because Unified health one was not accepted here. Toldly without coverage.robbed Me of money . Scammer

Health Insurance Innovations Allied National Health Insurance scam. Stole hundreds of dollars from me Tampa Florida

Purchased health insurance that had an effective date of 12/01/2016. On 12/03/2017 and 12/08/2017 I went to my doctor’s office for a checkup and followup. I received three bills later the next month stating that this insurance company was refusing to pay for any services. I called Health Insurance Innovations to inquire of these bills. They stated that they are not responsible for any medical coverage for at least the first week of coverage. To me that makes no sense. i purchased the entire month of December, but was not covered for the month of December. I realized I had been scammed. I am out hundreds of dollars with no real explanation.

This is fraud and needs a criminal investigation now.

I purchased this insurance weeks prior. To suggest I bought it on the way to the doctor would be completely untrue.

This is actually pretty standard; Insurance companies aren't thrilled with the idea of people buying health insurance days before going to see a doctor, it looks too much like you bought the insurance specifically to deal with a particular health issue. If you bought life insurance and died a few days later there would be virtually no coverage. If you'd read the fine print you probably would have seen that full coverage kicks in 30-60 days after you start paying premiums.

Unified Health One Health insurance innovations multiplan.com Told me I was signing up for medical coverage but turned out to be a life insurance policy Tampa Florida

I spoke with this company about obtaining medical insurance coverage. They told me $131 a month & a 1 time fee of $125. The reitterated over & over that the PPO coverage provided a medical plan with no deductible & I would be covered in any state. Also all meds & visits would be dramatically reduced. When they finished with my information they transferred me to someone who confirmed my info & sent me a confirmation of coverage. Confirmation consisted of Life insurance, Association fee, RX fee, Health & fitness information & a 24 phone on call dr. visit.

It doesn’t say anything about the PPO coverage they had verbally told me about. I questioned why the coverage they said I’d received was not there & they told me it was even though there is no documentation of such. This is flat out fraud & is misleading. The company need to be shut down immediately as they are clearly scamming millions of unsuspecting customer that believe what they tell them & are not bright enough to read the actual coverage is a life insurance, not medical coverage.
